Pabla India Cuisine - 2nd and Pike, Seattle

I love Indian food, and one thing I love about it is the vegetarian options. There are always many different vegetarian options on an Indian food menu.

This is the best Indian downtown. They do a lunch buffet daily for $9.95 and it is always packed.

The Bombay Allo is just great, big chunks of potatoes in a curry sauce with a slight hint of heat. The Saag Paneer is also awesome, cheese in a rich sauce. Yum.

yes its kinda hard for me to write this, I don't know what all the things are yet. I am still learning my way around this strange exotic food!

try this next time you are downtown.

Qwest for a new breakfast - we have a winner!

Well, its a small victory since we are moving to a new neighborhood in a month or so...

The winner is. Market Fresh!

I knocked them at first, when I got breakfast from them on their very first day being open for breakfast. As my search worsened, I thought I should give them another try. I went a few weeks ago and noticed it was totally different.

Today I went again, and was very pleased. They had breakfast sandwiches, and one label caught my eye, "Veggie sausage and egg". I have NEVER seen a premade veggie sausage sandwich before. I was thrilled. It has a Morning Star veggie patty (my second favorite veggie breakfast meat) a fried egg, real cheddar cheese on a fresh english muffin. It was great.

They have two choices for hashbrowns now. Shredded and patty. I went with patty, and that was a mistake, too greasy. I will go for the shredded next time.

Then, as I was paying and telling her how happy I was about the veggy patty, the nice lady at the counter told me she could make them fresh anytime if there were not any out on the line. AND, I get a free coffee or tea with breakfast! I grabbed a Good Earth Jasmine Green Tea.

Hurrah, I now know where to go for breakfast, at least until we move...
