I was ready to give up. I just am not finding the breakfast I want, then I saw a sign at the Market Fresh Buffet restaurant place that I get a side salad for lunch from time to time from. The sign indicated that starting Oct 13th, Market Fresh would have breakfast.
Oct 13 I ventured into Market Fresh. I figured it would be similar to Kress, some soggy hash brown patties and powdered scrambled eggs. It was worse! The first thing I heard was the lady behind the cash register telling another customer that the hashbrowns were still cooking and would be out soon. I peered in to the steam tray and saw something I cannot fully describe. It was maybe a chiche? I don't know. It was a square piece of egg, like a piece of a casserole. Each one looked identical though. I wonder if it was some sort of frozen egg thing? I turned around and left immediately.
Speaking of Kress, I went there today, I have no other options... However, I turned and left upon seeing strange round egg patties instead of scrambled eggs. I didn't see any hashbrowns either, but I was not staying once I saw that egg patty. I sold out and went to McDonalds and had an egg mc muffin with no canadian bacon and an order of hash browns. I was worried that the man would not understand me. I know how to order in Subway in spanish now, but not mcDonalds. How do you say No Canadian Bacon? Is there a word for Canadian bacon in spanish? However, they got my order right. da da da da da, I'm loving it!

Qwest for a new breakfast - Seattle Bagel
We get bagels from this place every friday. I used to be the one who picked the bagels up, so I am quite familiar with the place. Occasionally I will get a jalapeno bagel with hummus. It's pretty good, but I am still searching for my replacement breakfast.
I ordered a egg and cheese bagel, of course it comes with a choice of meat, so again I had to pay for meat I didn't get, but, the bagel was darn good. The price was $2.99 plus $.50 tip.
This is by far the best city breakfast I have had since the cafeteria closed. The bagels are always fresh, cooked daily on location. The egg was fresh and the cheese was decent. I think it may have been American cheese, but it really worked I was fulfilled.
